Balmulo's Same As Gold (Shamus)

My first Connemara pony was the stallion Balmullo’s Same As Gold (or Shamus, as we called him). At that time, there were no other Connemara stallions in my area and Artificial Insemination was not available. He sired many top quality foals out of my mares and outside mares of other breeds. His foals went on to become everything from backyard ponies to performance ponies that are competing at the CDE level. Shamus is deceased now, but he lives on through his children and grandchildren.
