Balmulo's Same as Gold (Shamus)

My first Connemara pony was the stallion Balmullo’s Same As Gold (or Shamus, as we called him). At that time there were not any other stallions in my area and Artificial Insemination was not available. He produced many top quality foals out of my mares and outside mares of other breeds. His foals went on to become everything from backyard ponies to performance ponies that competed all the way to the CDI level. Shamus is deceased now but he lives on through his children and grandchildren.
